FAQ

Frequently asked questions, policies, & aftercare. Please read carefully before booking or messaging.

  • How do I book?
Reach out to your preferred artist directly on Instagram (recommended method as this is the fastest). This information is linked on our homepage. Or, you can fill out the booking form in our header at the top of our webpage. If you're mobile, click on the 3 lines icon on the top right.
  • Do you have a shop minimum?
$150, regardless of size, placement, and design.
  • Can you quote me on a tattoo?
We recommend in-person consultations the most to accurately quote you as we must analyze the size of your anatomy and discuss your tattoo design with you. If you are unable to do so, you may fill out the booking form on our page.
  • What's your prices/rates?
Please contact your preferred artist for their rate as each artist will have their own pricing. All of our artists go by sessions rather than hourly. Each session is 6-8 hours. If your tattoo does not require a full session, then it is up to the discretion of your artist and what you have worked out with them.
  • Do you do walk-ins?
Yes! Feel free to come in during our opening hours of Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-8pm. We recommend appointments more as this will secure you an allotted time. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all walk-ins if our artists have full day sessions.
  • What are your hours?
We are open from Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm-8pm.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
We normally accept cash but you can consult with your artist for other payment methods.
  • Can I use numbing cream?/Do you provide numbing cream?
We do not provide numbing cream. You can use your own but at your own discretion. Numbing creams contain lidocaine as an active ingredient and we advise you to not order anything higher than 5% lidocaine per FDA regulations. Always patch test at least 2 weeks in advance on a small area of the neck or hand to see if you have any adverse reactions. This will give you time to get new numbing cream if need be. Plan accordingly. Please follow the directions of your numbing cream carefully as each brand will have their own set of instructions. Be sure to prep with the cream BEFORE your appointment. Your artist can assist you in applying your cream but it will take at least 30 minutes for it to be effective, cutting into your tattooing time.
  • Will my tattoo hurt?
Depends on the area and your pain tolerance. Areas where the skin is thinner, less flesh, or bone-y areas, such as the collarbone, knees, inside of the elbow, or anywhere close to the armpits, tend to hurt more. Arms and legs are tolerable by most. We recommend practicing meditation and breathing techniques to calm the nerves and relieve the pain. We will also do our very best to accommodate you in whatever way we can to make your experience here the most comfortable it can be!
  • What is the minimum age to be tattooed here?
    18+. No exceptions.
  • Deposit
The deposit is a non-refundable payment that confirms and secures your appointment while insuring that the artist can go forward with designing your tattoo. It is paid before the tattoo session and the amount is dependent on the artist. It also counts towards the total price of the tattoo. Any last minute cancellations/rescheduling will forfeit your deposit and appointment's time allotment. We normally accept cash for the deposit but you can consult with your artist for other forms of payment. Should you have any questions or concerns, please communicate with your artist.
  • Reschedule & Cancellations
Each artist will have their own cancellation and reschedule policy. Please reach out to your artist for further information. For standard procedure, please notify your artist of any rescheduling needs as soon as possible and no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled appointment date. Any last minute cancellations will forfeit your appointment's allotted time.
  • What to Do Before Your Tattoo
Get a full night's rest. Do not consume copious amounts of alcohol or any recreational substances the night before. Skip the caffeine in the morning and opt for a balanced breakfast to avoid jitters and restlessness. Stay hydrated. We also provide complimentary snacks and drinks at the studio! We do not recommend taking Tylenol or Ibuprofen as these may thin your blood and make it harder on the artist to tattoo you. Moisturize your skin for at least 3 days before your appointment.
  • What to Do After Your Tattoo
Please follow the instructions given to you by your artist. Instructions if you have SecondSkin/Saniderm: You most likely will have SecondSkin/Saniderm placed after your freshly done tattoo. This is a clear, latex-free, water resistant wrap that will protect your tattoo from daily activities. Keep this on for 7 days then remove. We recommend removing in the shower under warm water and pull with the grain of your skin (direction of hair growth), not against. After removal, apply thin layers of Aquaphor or non-scented moisturizer to the tattoo twice a day until it's completely healed. In the meantime, AVOID: • Swimming • Submerging your tattoo in water for too long • Exposing your tattoo to the sun. Sunscreen is your best friend and will help prevent your tattoo from fading. • Vigorous sweating and exercise • Avoid laser treatments and IPL devices in the tattooed area as these will target the pigments of the ink, ruin your tattoo, and cause pain/irritation. • Drinking alcohol for at least 3 days • Foods that can cause allergic reactions If you see red plasma or a liquid sack developing in your SecondSkin/Saniderm, feel free to come in and we'll replace your wrap for you. This is normal and a sign that your body is healing. Any other questions and/or concerns, please contact your artist or call your doctor if you are developing allergic reactions/signs of infection. Instructions for when you don't have SecondSkin/Saniderm: DO: • Keep your tattoo clean by washing with fragrance-free liquid antibacterial soap and water. • Pat dry with a clean paper towel. • Treat your tattoo like an open wound. Use thin layers of a fragrance-free moisturizer or Aquaphor to moisturize the skin and expedite the healing process. DON'T: • Do not rebandage your tattoo. • Do not use alcohol • Do not apply thick layers of Aquaphor or moisturizers as this can clog up the pores and cause irritation. • Do not pick or scratch at your tattoo.
